Our Promises to You

Published July 24, 2026

MoodieFoodie exists to answer one question honestly: what’s actually the best dish in Las Vegas? Everything below is how we protect that answer. These aren’t terms — they’re promises, written in plain language so you can hold us to them.

1. Rankings — and recommendations — are never for sale.

No restaurant can pay for a better spot on a leaderboard or to be what we genuinely recommend to you. Businesses can pay for clearly labeled sponsored placements, but sponsored is always marked, and never mixed into real rankings or real recommendations. If it isn’t labeled, it was earned.

2. Your data is not the product.

We don’t collect much — an email so you can keep your rankings, and your comparison history. We never sell or hand over any of it: not your email, not your dining history, not to anyone. Your taste history has one job: making MoodieFoodie better for you, like recommending your next favorite dish.

What restaurants ever see is the big picture — anonymous, combined trends like “most of your fans come from Summerlin” — never you. If we ever ask for something optional, like your zip code, we’ll tell you exactly why, and skipping it costs you nothing. Even when a restaurant pays to promote a dish, they’re paying us to show it to the right people; they never see who those people are.

3. This stays a place for diners, not ads.

MoodieFoodie is free for diners and will stay that way. We make our money helping restaurants understand and reach food lovers — and that business lives in its own lane, clearly separated from your experience. No pop-up walls, no pay-to-read, no ad farm.

4. We keep the noise down.

We’re building a community, not a mailing list. When we reach out, it’s because we have something worth your time — and we keep communication to a minimum. Leaving is always one click.

5. You rank only what you’ve eaten.

Every ranking on this site comes from head-to-head votes between dishes people have personally tried. We never ask you to judge food you haven’t tasted, and neither can anyone else. It’s the rule that keeps the whole thing honest.

6. We defend the rankings.

A ranking is only worth something if it can’t be gamed. When we find manipulation — fake votes, coordinated boosting — we remove those votes and recompute every score from scratch. No exceptions, no matter whose ranking it helps.

To Las Vegas restaurants

Listing on MoodieFoodie is free, and it always will be. Money never changes your rank — what paid tools buy is honest reach: labeled placements, insights, and real diners who already love your kind of food. We win when your best dish gets the recognition it earned. That’s the whole model.
